Bible Studies (Bible Study will meet this week.)

Lil Disciples Bible Study  – (March 26th-Book of Lamentations)

Lil Disciples Bible Study is an age-appropriate study of God’s Word. The lessons for the summer will continue to be about the books of the Bible through a series posted on the NBDM YouTube Channel. Youth are encouraged to watch each week’s episode in preparation for Children’s Church on Sunday.

Food Pantry – The Bond of Unity Food Pantry will be open every other Thursday in the month of April between 2-5pm. (Specific dates April 3rd & April 17th). If you need food on an alternate Thursday or live in a different area, please call 2-1-1 to find a food pantry closest to you. Donations can be made through Paypal. -       Volunteers are needed to assist with the Bond of Unity Food Pantry. Street Kings – Street Kings will be doing outreach to the homeless.  If you would like to help assemble the food bags or if you would like to donate items, please reach out to Bro George Storm.

Spirit Midwest – The 2025 mission trip has been scheduled for Feb 8th-14th. If you would like to learn more, please contact Sis. Terri at spiritmidwestia@gmail.com. 

Morning Winter Workout Classes – We are currently hosting morning group workout classes beginning on Tuesday & Friday Mornings 6:50am-7:30am. These will be cardio workouts and the cost will be $12.50 per session. Financial Assistance is available please see Sis. Angie for details.

NBDM VBS 2025 – Mark your calendar for this year’s VBS “Concrete and Cranes: Jesus Is Our Strong Foundation” which will take place Monday, July 21st – Friday, July 25th! We will have dinner every evening at 6:00pm with classes from 6:30-8pm. More info to come.

Family & Friends Service – Mark your calendar for our Family and Friends Service in the Park on Sunday, July 27th. That Sunday we will have praise, worship, fun and fellowship at MLK park. More details to come.

Iowa Heroes Academy - The Des Moines Police Department is accepting applications for the Iowa Heroes Academy for young women ages 16-18 who are interested in exploring careers in firefighting, policing, and the military.
